Why it works

The bottom of the foot is coated with Teflon (PTFE), which has a naturally slick, low‑friction surface. This means:

Fabric glides under the foot instead of sticking
Stitches stay even
The machine feeds the fabric more consistently
You avoid that “jerky” movement you get with a regular metal foot
